Katie Hacce, a 25-year-old mother, tragically died after falling from her horse during a warm-up exercise at Little Mill Equestrian Centre in Carmarthen, Wales. Despite paramedics’ efforts to save her for 90 minutes, she did not respond to treatment and passed away. Her family and friends described her as a well-loved member of their circle.
Her heartbroken mother, Tracey Campbell, paid tribute to Katie, calling her “beautiful” and expressing deep sadness at her passing. Katie’s uncle explained that despite the paramedics’ best efforts, she did not survive the life-threatening injury sustained from the fall. The riding centre staff also expressed shock and sadness over the incident, emphasizing the importance of safety in the sport.
Dyfed Powys Police confirmed the incident, stating that the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
