A woman in central Chile fell off a horse in the mountainous region of Bio Bio and suffered several bone fractures. The incident occurred during a horseback ride with her family when one of the horses became frightened, causing her to fall. The woman had to be rescued by helicopter and transported to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Footage released on February 19 showed the woman being carefully placed on a stretcher and carried to the helicopter for transport. The Carabineros Region del Bio Bio were involved in the rescue operation and worked to immobilize the woman before moving her.
