Derrick Campana, a pioneer in Veterinary Orthotics and Prosthetics, is lending his expertise to the non-profit farm animal sanctuary, Don’t Forget Us Pet Us in Dartmouth. The sanctuary rescues and provides a safe haven for sick, neglected, or discarded farmed and domestic animals, aiming to inspire compassion and create a kinder community.

Campana, founder of Bionic Pets, specializes in creating custom prosthetics and orthotics for animals of all sizes, including dogs, horses, ducks, and elephants. His show, The Wizard of Paws, offers hope and healing for animals and their human families, and is available on various platforms like Disney+ and Animal Planet.

With Campana’s help, animals at Don’t Forget Us Pet Us, such as Kiki the sheep and Krinkle the horse, will have a chance at a better quality of life. The sanctuary’s overseer, Deborah Bell-Devlin, is excited for the opportunity to work with Campana and create awareness for the difference he can make in the lives of these special animals.
