US Equestrian has added 11 new organizations to its Community Outreach Program, bringing the total number of organizations in the program to 29. These organizations offer equine-assisted services, therapy, and learning on a free or sliding scale basis, with a focus on providing life-changing benefits through interactions with horses. The program has helped thousands of individuals experience these benefits since its inception in 2021.
The new organizations joining the program include a variety of centers across the United States, such as therapeutic riding programs, horse rescues, and organizations focused on providing equine-assisted therapy to individuals with physical, emotional, and developmental challenges. Each organization was evaluated against eligibility requirements and approved by the US Equestrian Community Outreach Task Force, which includes executive staff, board members, and athletes.
Organizations in the Community Outreach Program receive benefits such as eligibility to apply for grants through the USEF Opportunity Fund. US Equestrian is committed to supporting these organizations and bringing the joy of horse sports to as many people as possible. Individuals interested in supporting these organizations can make tax-deductible donations to the USEF Opportunity Fund online, and stay connected with the Community Outreach Organizations by following US Equestrian on social media.
