There was some much needed moisture over the weekend, which is a relief from the dry wind. The Thursday Breakaway practices at Golliher arena will be paused due to clinic season starting. KPH arena in Gillette, Wyo. will be starting their Ranch Show Series soon, with AQHA approved classes and a Marilyn Randall Ranch Class clinic.

Additionally, there will be a Sled Work Breakaway Clinic with Blake Baade at Milestone Ranch, a draft horse sale in Kalona, Iowa, and the 420 Bull Riding and Easter Egg Hunt at Three Mile Creek arena in Kyle, S.D. Asa Stathart will be holding a Manner and Foot Handling Clinic in Powell, Wyo., and the Tom Reeves Bronc Riding Schools are starting in Eagle Butte, S.D. The makeup date for the Jackson Youth rodeo is on April 27 in Newcastle, Wyo.

For those participating in SDHSRA Regional rodeo, online entries will be open from April 15 to 25. Entry packets for S.D. 4-H rodeo contestants must be in before the May 1 deadline. Lastly, a Rickie Fanning Breakaway Clinic will be held in Thermopolis, Wyo. on May 16, and the Becoming Champions rodeo Bible Camp in Meeteetsee, Wyo. will be held from June 9-12.
