The UC Davis Equestrian team has swept the ECAC Rider of the Week titles for the fourth time in the 2024-25 season. Four Aggies received the honors after a matchup with the South Carolina Gamecocks, with each discipline represented by a different rider. This marks the third time this season that the Aggies have achieved a clean sweep of the ECAC weekly titles.
Jessie Rechs earned her third ECAC title of the season in the Fences discipline, scoring a point for the Aggies with a score of 79. Lauren Kolbe received her third award of the season in the Flat category, earning the MOP and a win for the team with a score of 82. Kylie Jacobson scored the highest in Horsemanship with a 75.5, securing a win for the Aggies with a 3-2 overall score. Emma Dillon received her first ECAC accolade of the season in Reining, scoring a 69.5 with GT.
The UC Davis Equestrian team has earned a total of 21 ECAC Rider of the Week nods this season, showcasing their impressive performances and equitation skills. The fourth Aggie awards sweep was a perfect way to end the regular season as they prepare for conference tournament play.
