Tiztastic’s win filled the void left by his stablemate Magnitude, who was knocked off the Derby trail. Chunk of Gold finished second in the Louisiana Derby, earning 50 points and a trip to the Kentucky Derby.

Tiztastic, a son of Tiz the Law, thrived over the 1 3/16 miles of the Louisiana Derby. The horse was purchased for $335,000 and is now guaranteed a spot in the Kentucky Derby with 119 points.
