Silveira’s career in Thoroughbred racing included working with legendary figures like John Nerud and training successful horses like Addy Bug, who became her all-time favorite. Despite personal tragedies, including the loss of multiple husbands, Silveira remained dedicated to her passion for racehorses and continued to thrive in the industry.
Today, Silveira still maintains her farm in Ocala and remains committed to the racehorse business, viewing it as a way of life that has become ingrained in her very being. Her resilience and unwavering dedication to thoroughbreds serve as a testament to the enduring nature of her love for the sport.
