William Molinar, a cowboy from Texas who helped rescue horses and support firefighters during the Ruidoso wildfires, is set to go to trial in August for allegedly sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl in El Paso. The abuse reportedly occurred over a span of seven months, with Molinar accused of forcing the teen to engage in vaginal sexual intercourse.
The victim, who had been gifted a horse by her mother and kept at Molinar’s ranch, stated that the abuse began with holding hands and progressed to oral sex before escalating to vaginal intercourse. Molinar, a friend of the victim’s mother, would allegedly force the teen to have sex when driving her home.
Despite his involvement in helping with the Ruidoso wildfires and rescuing horses, Molinar will face trial for the aggravated sexual assault of a child. The trial is expected to begin on August 9, with Molinar accused of using his position of trust to abuse the teenage girl over a period of several months.
