Teenager and Horse Win Top Honors at BSHA Rising Star Finals

Sixteen-year-old Chloe Owen and Tarr Dauntless, known as Rodney, were the youngest pair in their class at the BSHA Rising Star finals in London. They not only won the class, but also took the hunter championship with a ‘sublime’ and ‘faultless’ performance.

Chloe has a special bond with Rodney, as she helped rear him after his mother died tragically when he was a few days old. The 15.2 dark bay hunter was bred by Chloe’s parents, who have been breeding down the lines for generations.

The pair have had a successful first year in the show ring, winning the main championship at five out of seven shows. Rodney’s exceptional temperament and professionalism have impressed many, and there is an exciting future ahead for Chloe and Rodney in their equestrian career.
