The No. 3 TCU equestrian team defeated South Dakota State 16-4, with Lilly Goldstein, Laurel Smith, Shea Graham, and Payton Boutelle earning Most Outstanding Performer awards in Fences, Flat, Reining, and Horsemanship, respectively. In the Fences event, TCU set the tone with a 4-1 win, with Goldstein earning MOP honors. The Flat event also ended in a 4-1 victory for TCU, with Smith earning the event’s MOP.
In the Reining event, TCU secured a 4-1 win over South Dakota State, with Shea Graham earning MOP honors. The Horsemanship event concluded with TCU earning another 4-1 win, with Payton Boutelle claiming MOP honors. The team will next travel to Stillwater, Okla. to face the Cowgirls on Feb. 21, with TCU holding a 1-0 record against them this season.
