Setting New World Records: 4BP Horses at Lauralla Lodge aiming for new milestones

Joe Hughes and his wife Miranda purchased Lauralla Lodge in 2022, where Joe uses his 4BP horse training methods to transform wild brumbies for a life working with people. Joe is world-renowned in horse breaking, having set a world record by breaking in 55 horses in 6 days. In February, he plans to set new world records by breaking in ten horses in two weeks and twenty horses in five days.

Lauralla Lodge is a hive of activity, with horses sourced from across the continent and aged five years. Using 4BP training methods, the average horse takes three hours to train. Aside from breaking world records, Joe and the 4BP team also use horses for equine therapy, helping people suffering from mental hardship through programs like Brumbies 4 Recovery (B4R).

The public can witness the action at Lauralla Lodge in February for free, with dates and times to be finalized. Those interested in getting involved with the 4BP program can contact Joe via the ‘4BP Horses’ Facebook page or the website. Joe emphasizes that it’s all about having fun and helping people through the power of horses.
