The Yellowhead 4-H Horse Projects group in Barriere is seeking a qualified instructor for the summer season. They have raised funds through a bottle drive to subsidize lessons and clinics for their eight members and nine horses. Lessons can be costly, with fees up to $60 per member.
Despite having two instructors lined up, the club is still in need of an instructor for lessons from April to June. The Horse Club meets every Monday to work with their horses and learn about horse theory before riding season starts. The group has raised over $1200 through their bottle drive and welcomes donations or interest in joining.
