Scottish Sun Columnist Ed Watson Picks Willie Mullins to Win Big at Ayr

Scottish Sun columnist and Racing TV analyst Ed Watson predicts that Traprain Law will win the race at Ayr, avenging his defeat from last year. Despite being winless in five starts this season, Traprain Law is expected to perform better on a more favorable track and distance, with his owner actively targeting this meeting.

In the £100,000 handicap race, Kihavah is a strong contender at double-figure odds, having posted career-best Timeform figures in previous races. Trainer Adrian Keatley believes Kihavah has a very good chance in the race, especially if the ground dries out a bit. With jockey Brian Hughes on board, Kihavah is expected to perform well.

Rockola Vogue, the winner of the 2m4f Lady Buttons series final, remains untouched by the handicapper despite her victory. Trainer Graeme McPherson is confident in Rockola Vogue’s abilities, especially as she steps up to an extended 3m for the first time. The mare’s jumping is still a work in progress, but McPherson is optimistic about her chances in the upcoming race at Ayr.
