Roscommon Racecourse was named the winner of the Racecourse Award at the 2025 Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards, chosen by the Irish stable Staff Association based on a quality programme evaluation. The racecourse will receive €2,500 to upgrade facilities for stable employees. The TIEA winners represented Counties Kildare, Limerick, Meath, Roscommon, and Wicklow.
Sponsored by Godolphin and supported by various organizations, the TIEAs recognize and reward the skills and dedication of those working in the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry in Ireland. The awards ceremony will take place in County Kildare on June 3rd, where the Irish Racing Excellence Award will be presented to one of the winners. Each individual winner will receive a trophy and €4,000, with an additional €2,500 awarded to their employers for the benefit of their colleagues.
The Irish Racing Excellence Award winner will receive an extra €5,000 and €2,500 for their employer. Joe Osborne, Managing Director of Godolphin Ireland, expressed gratitude for the nominators who praised their industry colleagues and highlighted the importance of supporting these awards.
