Thirteen-year-old Canadian rider Star Sadeghi has been excelling in FEI competitions in the United Arab Emirates since January 2023. Trained by her mother, Canadian show jumper Andrea Agnew, Star has already accumulated nine wins in her young career, most notably aboard her mare Alesi. She has also won the prestigious FBMA International Show Jumping Cup twice and aspires to compete in the Olympics in the future.
Star credits her success to her mother’s coaching, describing her as easy to work with and very helpful. She has achieved notable results in 1.30m competitions and aims to continue improving as she transitions to the junior level. Star also hints at the possibility of getting a new horse in the future, leaving that decision up to her parents.
Star’s future plans include competing in higher-level competitions and achieving more placings as she progresses in her equestrian career. With her talent, dedication, and supportive family, she is well on her way to achieving her goals in the sport.
