Two coloured cobs, Maximus and Bruno, were abandoned by their owners and left in poor condition on rented land. A caring neighbor contacted HAPPA, a welfare charity, for help. HAPPA was able to rescue Maximus and Bruno using the Control of Horses Act 2015. The horses had overgrown hooves, poor teeth, and were overweight due to a lack of proper care. Despite their hardships, the horses are expected to make a full recovery and find forever homes through HAPPA’s rehoming scheme.
