Rescued Horse Revealed to Come from Champion Lineage: A Heartwarming Story of Redemption

Carrie Emerson, a Virginian woman, rescued a 23-year-old horse named Cinetico in 2024, who was underfed and neglected. Emerson brought the horse back to health and discovered that he comes from a long line of champions, having won world and national shows. Despite his previous condition, Cinetico showed great potential in the show ring, displaying a stunning show stance that impressed Emerson.

After having Cinetico’s DNA tested, Emerson found out that the horse was listed as missing since his original owner became sick in 2013. The horse, originally named Cinetico De Vitral, had almost 300 show points as a stallion in the Paso Fino show world. Despite several people approaching Emerson to buy the horse, she has declared herself as his last owner and plans to reintroduce him to the show ring to continue his legacy as show world royalty.

Emerson has a history of rescuing neglected horses and giving them a better quality of life. She takes in horses that other rescues won’t, rehabilitating them and helping them reach their full potential. Cinetico’s story is a heartwarming tale of redemption and discovery, showcasing the bond between a dedicated owner and a once-neglected horse with a prestigious lineage.
