Rescue Organization in Santa Rosa County Fights to Save Neglected Horses

Two severely neglected horses were recently rescued by Tiny Acres Northwest Florida Inc., a volunteer organization made up of veterans. One of the horses, Angel, is recovering from severe neglect, while the other, Maximus, only has days left to live due to a painful condition called founder. The organization provides around the clock care to animals like Angel and Maximus, aiming to give them a second chance at life.

Angel, suffering from proud flesh sores caused by insect bites, is receiving treatment to heal her wounds and improve her overall health. Maximus, on the other hand, is on borrowed time due to his founder condition, which causes extreme pain and hoof necrosis. Despite the grim prognosis for Maximus, Tiny Acres is dedicated to providing him with the best pain management and a peaceful end to his life.

Tiny Acres NWFL is asking for community support through donations of time, items like storage containers or horse blankets, and financial contributions to help cover the costs of caring for the horses. The organization relies on donations to continue rescuing and caring for abused and neglected horses, providing them with love and a safe haven.
