William A. “Bill” Westpfahl, 69, of Taylor Ridge, passed away on April 3, 2025, at MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on April 10, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, with visitation on April 9, 2025. Burial will take place in Reynolds Cemetery, with memorials to Taylor Ridge United Methodist Church.
Born in Rock Island in 1956, Bill graduated from Rockridge High School in 1974 and worked as a farmhand. He enjoyed showing horses, was a member of the Taylor Ridge United Methodist Church, and participated in FFA and 4H. Bill loved watching sports, especially basketball, and cherished time spent with family and friends.
Survived by siblings Cathy, Robert, Mary, and Sue, as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousin Jim Westpfahl, and dear friend Larry Rudsell. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, aunts Dorothy and Margaret Westpfahl, and uncle Donald Westpfahl. Online condolences can be shared on the funeral home’s website.
