Lewis Biddle, known as Lew, passed away on January 18, 2025, leaving behind his wife, three children, four granddaughters, and brother. He was a respected general contractor and owned a home maintenance business for over thirty years, specializing in plumbing, electrical work, and woodworking.
Lew’s love for draft horses began in the late seventies, leading him to promote and raise Belgians on his family’s farm. He served on various boards related to draft horses and was instrumental in starting the Draft Horse show at the Keystone Livestock International. His family showed their horses at various events, earning numerous championships and accolades over the years.
In addition to his passion for horses, Lew was a collector of antiques and had a love for history. His funeral service will be held on January 26, 2025, with donations suggested to support the Belgian Draft Horse Corporation of America Alliance Program in lieu of flowers. Lew’s legacy includes his dedication to his family, horses, and community.
