Remembering Jim Bee Stamps: A Life Well Lived

Jim Bee Stamps, born in 1928 in Arkansas, passed away in 2025 in Chelan, Washington. He spent over 75 years growing award-winning apples and pears in the Chelan Valley, as well as raising cows, bulls, and American Quarter Horses. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Doris, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jim was known for his kind heart and willingness to help others in need. A small family celebration of life will take place in the spring or summer, and donations can be made to Chelan Athletics or the Chelan Jr. rodeo in lieu of flowers.

Despite living in a complex world, his faith guided him through life. Jim will be remembered as a simple farmer with a deep love for his family and community.
