Canda D. Tinkelenberg passed away at the age of 81 in Yarmouth, Maine, surrounded by her three children. She was born in Boston in 1943 and had a deep love for horses and horseback riding, serving as a mentor to friends and students.

Family adventures were a passion for Canda, from camping in Nova Scotia to summers on Martha’s Vineyard. She enjoyed exploring Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park, as well as hiking with her family. She was also creative, enjoying sewing, knitting, and making greeting cards.

Canda is survived by her three children, grandson, sister, niece, and nephew. A celebration of her life is planned for the spring of 2025, with donations in her memory suggested to the MSSPA.
