Punjab’s First Equestrian Festival Set to Showcase Horses from Reputed Stud Farms and Clubs

Punjab’s first equestrian festival will take place on March 1 and 2 at Ranch Forest Hills in Karoran, featuring horses from reputable stud farms and clubs across the state and country. Organized by the state Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department, preparations are in full swing with various events planned such as Horse Jumping, Ring Competitions, Tent Pegging, Heritage Fashion Show, and more.

Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain is overseeing the preparations for the festival, which will also include Cultural Events, Food and Shopping Exhibitions, and an Expert Talk Show. Additional Deputy Commissioner Sonam Chaudhary visited the venue to ensure that professional horse riding competition organizers are involved in streamlining the arrangements. The event will run from 8 am to 7 pm over the two days.

Representatives from The Ranch, Forest Hill, Deepinder Singh Brar, and Harjinder Singh Khosa are working on the arrangements for the festival. With horses from various breeds participating, the festival aims to showcase the equestrian culture in Punjab and provide a platform for enthusiasts to enjoy and learn about horse riding.
