The first round of the Doha International Equestrian Tour 2025 concluded with over 330 riders participating in various categories, with a total prize money of over €690,000. Austrian Gerfried Puck emerged as the champion of the CSI4*-W Grand Prix 1.55m class, winning on the chestnut stallion Equitron Naxcel V and taking home the top prize of 41,175 euros.
In other classes, Abdullah Alsharbatly of Saudi Arabia won the CSI4-W 1.45m class, Italian Emanuele Gaudiano claimed victory in the CSI2 Grand Prix 1.45m class, and Qatari rider Hussain Said A M Haidan won the CSI2 1.35m class. Saudi rider Khaled Alhady also excelled in the CSI1 Grand Prix 1.25m, riding Doremi du Flot Z to victory.
The Doha International Equestrian Tour 2025 consists of three international rounds, with the first and second rounds featuring CSI4, CSI2, and CSI1 categories, and the third and final round, HH The Amir’s Sword International Equestrian Festival, including CSI1, CSI3, and CSI5 categories. The championship aims to develop the performance of riders and provide them with the opportunity to compete with top riders in the sport of show jumping.
