Post Time has been named the Top Midlantic-bred of 2024 after winning four races, earning nearly $1 million, and finishing second in the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile. Trained by Brittany Russell, Post Time is a Maryland-bred four-year-old by Frosted and out of Vielsalm. He won the Grade 2 Carter Stakes and Grade 3 General George during the season, placing in three Grade 1 events.
Post Time has won nine out of 15 starts in his career and has never finished worse than third, earning a total of $1,227,910. Owned by Ellen Charles’s Hillwood stable LLC, Post Time is the second millionaire owned by Hillwood, following Cordmaker. Post Time is known for giving his all in every race and has stayed sound throughout his career.
Post Time will be returning for the 2025 season after some time off following a third-place finish in the Grade 2 Cigar Mile. He received 11 of 13 first-place votes from a panel of experts to be named the Top Midlantic-bred of 2024, beating out Book’em Danno.
