Pasco Masonic Lodge to Host Fundraiser for Therapeutic Horsemanship Organization

The Pasco Masonic Lodge will be hosting a fundraising dinner on Valentine’s Day to support the Pasco Strides Therapeutic Horsemanship Center, which offers programs to empower individuals with disabilities, veterans, first responders, and emergency service personnel. The organization utilizes the therapeutic benefits of horseback riding and human-animal connection to promote emotional well-being and resilience, improving balance, motor skills, and providing a sense of calm and connection.

Strides’ therapy programs have been shown to help veterans and first responders manage stress and PTSD by creating a bond between people and horses, leading to life-changing experiences. The fundraising dinner will take place on February 14th at the Columbia Basin Shrine Club in Pasco, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and dinner served at 6 p.m. The cost is $20 per person or $35 per couple, and RSVPs are requested by February 11th to Mick McCoy at (509)947-9233 or [email protected].

This event aims to raise funds for Strides’ important work in providing therapeutic horsemanship programs to those in need, helping them improve their physical and emotional well-being through the connection with horses. By supporting this cause, attendees can contribute to creating life-changing experiences for individuals with disabilities, veterans, first responders, and emergency service personnel, ultimately promoting resilience and overall well-being in the community.
