Olympian Beat Mändli Wins $120,000 Wheels Up Grand Prix CSI3* at World Equestrian Center – Ocala

The World Equestrian Center – Ocala hosted the $120,000 Wheels Up Grand Prix CSI3*, where Olympian Beat Mändli emerged victorious aboard Dijon Terdoorn Z after a thrilling three-horse jump-off. The FEI Level IV course designed by Marina Azevedo was technical and challenging, with only three riders delivering clear rounds in the first round. Mändli’s strategy paid off, leading him to victory with a clear and speedy time of 38.37 seconds.

Robert Blanchette and Chardonnay were first to tackle the jump-off, but an unlucky rail left them in third place. Mändli adjusted his plan after seeing Blanchette’s result and put the pressure on the last competitor, ultimately securing the top spot on the leaderboard. Mändli praised Dijon Terdoorn Z for being a careful and reliable horse, making his ride in the jump-off smooth and successful.

Gonzalo Busca, last week’s winner, delivered another clear round in the jump-off with Cristiano Obolensky, earning a strong second-place finish. Mändli’s intuitive riding style and trust in his horse’s abilities were key to his victory in the $120,000 Wheels Up Grand Prix CSI3* at the World Equestrian Center – Ocala.
