Nibeley Union Hit, a successful British-bred mare, has been withdrawn from international high performance sport after competing at four European Junior/Young Riders Championships. The mare, bred by Bernerd Eley, was first competed in the U.K. in 2011 and has been ridden by various talented equestrians over the years.
Under the guidance of riders such as Matthew Burnett, Caron Ann Roberts, Rebecca Bell, and Myles Graham, Nibeley Union Hit achieved significant success at national and international competitions. The pair of Myles Graham and Una won two medals at the 2023 Junior Euros and continued to excel in competitions throughout 2024.
Despite her successful career, Una has been withdrawn from team contention and will be taking a slower pace in life. Owner Caroline Bell, Myles Graham, and Caron Roberts announced the decision, acknowledging Una’s incredible achievements and the need for her to step down from international competition. While Una will not fully retire, she will be transitioning to a more relaxed lifestyle, with hopes of continuing to enjoy the sport at a slower pace.
