New Virginia Derby Qualifier Added to Road to Kentucky Derby Schedule

The Virginia Derby, previously a turf race, has been switched to dirt and added to the Derby points series, taking place on March 15 as part of a three-day boutique race meet at Colonial Downs. Races from Colonial Downs, including the Virginia Oaks, will be shown live on FanDuel TV, along with races from other tracks such as Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita Park.

Live racing from Aqueduct, Oaklawn Park, and Tampa Bay Downs will be featured on “America’s Day at the Races,” airing on FOX Sports from March 14-16. Horse racing from tracks worldwide can be livestreamed on Racetrack Television Network (RTN) on various devices, including DISH Network, Amazon Fire, and Roku.

The National Horseplayers Championship (NHC) will run from March 14-16 at Horseshoe Las Vegas, with daily coverage provided by America’s Best Racing in a livestream called “National Horseplayers Championship LIVE!” Hosted by ABR’s Dan Tordjman and Rachel Miller, the show will feature guest appearances, including NHC veteran Noel Michaels, and will air on ABR’s social media channels. Additionally, there is a schedule of TV, livestream, and radio coverage of horse racing and the NHC throughout the week.
