Nearly 90 Morgan Horses Available for Adoption in Madison County, MT

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the ASPCA, is facilitating the adoption of nearly 90 Morgan horses that were seized from a property in Madison County, MT due to alleged animal cruelty. The horses were forfeited to Madison County and transferred to the ASPCA for adoption. Interested adopters can apply through a provided link and the ASPCA will aim to respond within two business days. Horses not adopted initially will be transferred to ASPCA partner shelters and rescues.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office expresses gratitude for the support and patience shown throughout the process of caring for the seized horses. The ASPCA will be making the horses available for adoption locally in the coming weeks. Those unable to be present in Montana for the pick-up window can visit the ASPCA’s online equine adoption platform for information on available horses.
