Natasha Baker Expecting Second Child: Plans for LA 2028 Paralympics

Paralympic dressage rider Natasha Baker and her husband Marc Jaconelli are expecting their second child, with the baby due around late June. Natasha expressed excitement about the pregnancy and mentioned that it has been a different experience compared to her first pregnancy, with less nausea this time around. Natasha recently won two bronze medals at the Paris Paralympics with her horse Keystone Dawn Chorus (Lottie), who was later sold to 17-year-old Irish para rider Katie Reilly.

Natasha explained that the decision to sell Lottie was made after finding out about her second pregnancy, as it would be challenging to balance training for the World Championships with a new baby. Despite missing Lottie every day, Natasha hopes to be back in the saddle for the LA 2028 Paralympics and is looking forward to getting fit again after the birth of her second child. She mentioned that she may need to borrow a horse to ride in the meantime before finding a new horse to compete with in the future.

Natasha is planning to return to competition for the LA 2028 Paralympics, but acknowledges that unforeseen circumstances with horses or babies may alter those plans. She expressed gratitude for the support of her friends and family during this time and remains optimistic about her future in the sport of dressage.
