Narrow Escape: Kerala Family’s Fortunate Twist of Fate in Pahalgam Terror Attack

A family from Kerala narrowly escaped a recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, thanks to a horse-riding accident that delayed their journey. The family had arrived in Srinagar on April 18 and spent three days exploring the region before heading to Pahalgam. While on a horseback ride through a difficult trail, the father lost control of his horse, fell in the mud, and had to cut their trip short, returning to their hotel within half an hour.

As they arrived back at their hotel, the family saw military vehicles speeding by and received a warning about the situation in Pahalgam. Their driver advised them to leave immediately, and with his help, they made their way back to Srinagar. The family realized how close they were to danger and were grateful for the fortunate twist of fate that led to their early departure from the area.

The family, consisting of Sudhas Kannoth, his wife Preethi, and their son Mrinal, were on a trip to Kashmir to explore its beauty and find peace. Despite the unexpected turn of events that cut their trip short, they were thankful for narrowly escaping tragedy and returning safely from their journey. Sudhas, a writer and motivational trainer, expressed his gratitude for the fortunate accident that ultimately saved them from being at the attack site.
