The administration in Mohali is preparing to host the state’s first equestrian festival on March 1 and 2 at The Ranch, Forest Hills, Karoran. Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain mentioned that the festival will feature events such as horse jumping, ring competitions, tent pegging, heritage fashion show, cultural events, food and shopping exhibitions, and an expert talk show over two days from 8 am to 7 pm daily.

ADC Sonam Chaudhary stated that horses from reputed stud farms and clubs across the state and country will be participating in the festival. Additionally, horse-riding competition organisers have been engaged for the event. The festival aims to showcase a variety of events and activities related to horses and equestrian culture.

The equestrian festival in Mohali will be a grand event with a diverse range of activities including horse competitions, fashion shows, cultural events, and expert talks. The festival will bring together horses from different parts of the country and provide a platform for horse enthusiasts to come together and celebrate the equestrian culture.
