Maté Garai, a member of the Hungarian dressage team, has been given the ride on Jochen Arl’s Vitus as his team candidate for Crozet. Vitus is a 12-year-old Westfalian gelding who was previously competed by Joana Peterka, achieving success at the Inter II and Grand Prix levels in 2024.

Garai, a young Hungarian Grand Prix rider, has a history of international competition dating back to his youth. With Vitus, he aims to qualify for the Hungarian team for the 2025 European Championships in Crozet, with upcoming competitions planned to collect team qualification scores.

Vitus, known for his piaffe and passage, presents a great opportunity for Garai to compete at a high level and potentially make it to Crozet. The pair recently won the Intermediaire II at the CDN Wickrath, showcasing their potential for success in future competitions.
