A man and his injured horse were trapped in flash flooding in central west Queensland while traveling to seek surgery for the animal. The driver was swept off the road with his horse float and both became trapped in floodwaters at Tambo. Emergency services arrived and rescued the man and horse by boat, with neither suffering injuries.
