Lendon Gray ’71 Honored with 2024 USEF Lifetime Achievement Award

Lendon Gray ’71 was awarded the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award by the U.S. Equestrian Federation for her decades of dedication to the equestrian community. She began her riding career at a young age and transitioned to dressage, competing in multiple Olympics and receiving numerous awards and honors throughout her career.

In addition to her successful show career, Lendon founded Dressage4Kids in 1999 to provide educational and competitive opportunities to youth riders. She has had a significant impact on the international riding community through coaching and teaching, as well as contributing to various equestrian publications.

Lendon was presented with her Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 US Equestrian Annual Meeting, where she expressed gratitude to those who have supported her throughout her career. She continues to serve on various committees and boards within the equestrian community, including the dressage Foundation and the Sweet Briar College Board of Directors.
