Lake Placid Horse Shows Returns June 24-July 6, 2025, Featuring Upgraded All-Weather Show Rings!

The Lake Placid Horse Shows are set to return in 2025, taking place from June 24 to July 6 at the newly renovated North Elba Showgrounds in Lake Placid, NY. The event will feature two FEI horse shows, both rated CSI3*, highlighting classes for various skill levels, including juniors, amateurs, and hunters. The upgrades include redesigned show rings with state-of-the-art all-weather footing, thanks to Travis Gould and JTWG, Inc., as well as enhancements to schooling and stabling areas.

Celebrating over five decades of equestrian tradition, the 2025 shows will offer a packed competition schedule with over half a million dollars in prize money. Events include the USHJA World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) Northeast qualifiers, Green Hunter Incentive classes, and numerous jumper classics recognized by the Show Jumping Hall of Fame and North American League (NAL). This year’s shows aim to provide an unparalleled exhibitor experience, accommodating an increasing demand for FEI competitions.

As a USEF Heritage Competition and a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Lake Placid Horse Shows are dedicated to supporting the ongoing improvements at the North Elba Showgrounds through tax-deductible donations. Hosting the event in the picturesque setting of the Adirondack Mountains enhances the experience, making the Horse Shows a highly anticipated occasion for equestrians and spectators alike. For further details, individuals can contact the horse shows via their official website.
