Kevin Kohmann took the lead in prize money at the Global dressage Festival after the first week of international competition, earning $3,450. Felicitas Hendricks of Germany and U.S. Olympian Adrienne Lyle tied for second place with $3,300 each. The victory in the Grand Prix Freestyle for Felicitas earned her 20 points towards qualifying for the CDI5* Open Final in California.
In addition to Kevin, Adrienne, and Felicitas, other notable riders on the prize money standings included Susan Pape of Great Britain in fourth place with $2,800, and Australia’s Hope Beerling and Sweden’s Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén tied for fifth with $2,000 each. Michael Klimke of Germany, Devon Kane of Wellington, and Jennifer Williams of Olympia, Washington were also among the top earners.
On the US Open leaderboard, Geñay Vaughn was in first place with 20 points, followed by Felicitas Hendricks, Nadine Schwartsman, Kristina Harrison-Antell, Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén, and Adrienne Lyle. Other riders on the leaderboard included Brittney Simpson, Jennifer Williams, Devon Kane, Karen Lipp, Paula Matute Guimón, Sarah Tubman, Camille Carier Bergeron, and Evelyn Eger.
