Kentucky Derby 2025 Points Preps at Aqueduct, Gulfstream Park, and Santa Anita Featured on the Ron Flatter Racing Pod

This week on the Ron Flatter Racing Pod, Jon Lindo discusses the end of north-state racing in California, decoupling proposals in Florida and Virginia, and small fields for stakes at Santa Anita. He also previews the Robert B. Lewis, a Kentucky Derby points prep race.

Co-owner Ramiro Restrepo, who won the Kentucky Derby two years ago, is back with Ferocious, the favorite to win the Grade 3 Holy Bull at Gulfstream Park. Ed DeRosa handicaps weekend races, including the Bob Lewis, Holy Bull, and Withers at Aqueduct, each offering 20 Derby qualifying points to the winner.

Co-host John Cherwa reviews listener and reader feedback, much of which was in response to the Eclipse Awards. The Ron Flatter Racing Pod is available for free subscription on Apple, Firefox, iHeart, Spotify, and HorseRacingNation.com.
