JJ Torano of Wellington, FL, has been awarded the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month Award for March, marking the second consecutive month he has received this honor. Torano, a talented junior rider, competed in the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series’ East Conference Presented by Rood & Riddle, securing top 12 finishes in various events throughout the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington.
The Show Jumping Hall of Fame conducts its Jumper Classic Series with classes at approximately 80 horse shows each year, hosting competitions for junior and amateur riders in two Conferences – the East Conference presented by Rood & Riddle and the West Conference presented by LEG Colorado Horse Shows. Winners of the Series Finals receive LAURACEA backpacks and complimentary admission to the Hall of Fame’s annual Induction Ceremony and Awards Gala in Wellington in March.
The Show Jumping Hall of Fame was established to promote the sport of show jumping and honor those who have made significant contributions to the sport. The Hall of Fame is located at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, and recognizes the achievements of riders and horses through various awards and ceremonies. The Hall of Fame is sponsored by several organizations, including CMJ Sporthorse, Hampton Classic Horse Show, and Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital.
