Eighteen members from Jefferson County and 11 from Clearfield County participated in the annual Jefferson County 4-H Horse Show, with first place winners receiving trophies or ribbons. The top three winners of each class qualified for the District VIII Horse Show in Centre Hall. The event included various classes such as grooming & showmanship, trail classes, western classes, English classes, and gymkhana classes.
The show was judged by Sheila Karlin and featured equestrians showcasing their skills in different categories based on age and experience level. Participants competed in classes such as beginner English Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Ranch Pleasure, Pole Bending, Barrel Racing, and more. The Trailblazers Saddle Club contributed to the event by opening their food stand and providing support as ring crew, stewards, show committee, and gatekeepers.
