Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI) has appointed Molly Day as their new executive director. With nearly a decade of experience in business development and sales management in the sports and entertainment industry, Day has a proven track record of success in the field. She has previously worked at Haydock Park Racecourse and Carlisle Racecourse in the United Kingdom, achieving notable commercial success and improving sales and operational performance.
EEI is best known for organizing the annual Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS Equestrian, one of only seven annual 5* three-day events in the world. The event attracts nearly 90,000 spectators each year and offers extensive shopping, hospitality experiences, and demonstrations. Day’s expertise in sponsorship sales, team leadership, and stakeholder management will be valuable as EEI continues to build and expand their world-class events.
Prim Hudgins, President of the EEI Board of Directors, expressed excitement about Day joining the organization and bringing her strategic and results-oriented leadership to help move EEI forward. With a BA (Hons) in Festival and Events Management from Edinburgh Napier University, Day’s background and experience make her a valuable addition to the team as EEI continues to support the development of equestrian sports through their high-level sporting events.
