Turkish developer Hungri Games has partnered with Base to expand its MUNITY game series to Coinbase’s L2 blockchain Base, aiming to increase accessibility and reduce costs. The MUNITY platform currently includes three games: Stutengarten, M-Deed, and Metahorse Unity, all powered by the MUNITY token.

Metahorse Unity is the most popular game in the series, a mobile-based multiplayer horse racer that allows players to team up with friends, join guilds, and race other players’ horses. Players are rewarded for racing, breeding horses, and climbing the leaderboard. They can own and breed NFT horses or race with other players’ horses.

Hungri Games, previously known for F2P mobile RPGs, announced a $1.9 million seed round in 2023 for its web3 vision. The developer sees the integration with Base as redefining onchain gaming by offering greater accessibility and affordability, enabling seamless gameplay and immersive experiences for players.
