Historic Hampton Property to House North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association

The North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association will be moving into a barn on the historic Hampton property, thanks to the property’s new owners who also own Honeybee Centre. The association provides equine therapy programs for individuals with diverse abilities and will have a permanent home on the 53-acre property.

The riding association was founded in the 1970s and has grown into a professional therapeutic equine program that serves approximately 200 riders each year. The therapy helps riders improve physical, mental, emotional, and social challenges, while also fostering social connection, self-confidence, and emotional well-being.

The new owners of the Hampton property, the Gluck family, are community-minded and have provided a long-term lease for the association to establish a lasting home. The association is hoping to move in by July 1 and is currently fundraising to build an arena and paddocks at the new location to expand their programming and services.
