Historic Hampton Property to House North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association

The North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Association will be moving into a barn on the historic Hampton property, thanks to the property’s new owners who also own Honeybee Centre. The association provides equine therapy programs for individuals with diverse abilities and will have access to 53 acres of land for their activities.

The riding association was founded in the early 1970s and has grown into a professional therapeutic equine program for children and adults with physical, mental, emotional, and social challenges. The therapy provided by the association helps riders improve core strength, balance, mobility, social connection, self-confidence, and emotional well-being.

The new owners of the Hampton property, the Gluck family, are committed to supporting the association’s mission and have provided a long-term lease for the association to establish a permanent home. The association is currently fundraising to build an arena and paddocks at the new location, with a goal of $150,000.
