Heroic Horse Rider Saves Drowning Man in Central China’s Hubei Province

In Xiantao, China, a man named Erbay Dosbag, along with his friends Su Shaogao and Liu Hangzhou, rescued a drowning man from the Hanjiang River. Erbay rode his horse, White Dragon, into the freezing river to reach the struggling man, while Liu swam to assist. The heroic act prevented the man’s daughter from jumping in to save him.

The local authorities in Hubei Province recognized Erbay, Su, and Liu as “righteous and brave” models for their heroic rescue. A special ceremony was held to honor White Dragon, the horse that played a crucial role in the rescue operation. Officials placed a red flower on the horse’s head and offered fresh corn and grass as a token of appreciation for its bravery.

Erbay, who cannot swim, displayed remarkable bravery by riding his horse into the river to save the drowning man. The horse, White Dragon, swam for the first time in winter and successfully helped rescue the man from the water. The act of heroism was captured on CCTV News and garnered praise from the local community.
