A young foal named “No Ears” was rescued by Pen and the team from a brutal dog attack in Kabul last November. The foal, who lost her ears during the attack, suffered severe injuries but is now recovering well at Nowzad’s Donkey Sanctuary in Kabul. After being rejected by her owner, she is now thriving and enjoying sanctuary life alongside other donkeys.

The Donkey Sanctuary is seeking a new name for the foal to reflect her remarkable recovery and fresh start. They are asking for name suggestions from the public and will announce the winning name before the summer. The sanctuary has pledged to provide her with a permanent home and feature her in their upcoming Sponsorship Programme.
