Germany Dominates Starpoint Dancesport FEI Nations Cup CDIO3* Grand Prix at Adequan Global Dressage Festival

Germany won the Starpoint Dancesport FEI Nations Cup CDIO3* Grand Prix for the fifth consecutive year at the Adequan Global dressage Festival in Florida. The U.S. came in second and Sweden finished third in the competition, which only allowed Grand Prix level combinations. The German team was made up of Lars Ligus, Michael Klimke, Felicitas Hendricks, and newcomer Evelyn Eger, who topped the class with a new personal best of 70.43%.

Evelyn Eger and Tabledance 3 led the German team to victory, picking up their first CDI win. Eger, who works for Hof Kasselmann, rode the 12-year-old Oldenburg to her first CDI victory in three years. The silver medal-winning U.S. team featured Devon Kane, Kevin Kohmann, Erin Nichols, and Jennifer Williams, all under Chef d’Equipe Christine Traurig’s guidance. Kane was the top finisher for the U.S. team, riding Vamos into fifth place.

Seven-time Olympian Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén recorded Sweden’s top finish, placing second individually behind Eger. Both Australia and Canada fielded teams of just three riders, resulting in elimination for one combination from each country. Germany’s victory was attributed to strong teamwork and a solid performance from each team member.
