A Fremont police sergeant with experience working with horses helped rescue a horse named Colorado that was running loose along Niles Canyon Road. The horse, trained in Charreria dancing, was corralled by the sergeant after Good Samaritans were unable to do so.
Colorado’s owners rely on the horse’s dancing skills for their business, as it performs in traditional Mexican rodeos. The owners were grateful for the police department’s assistance in safely returning the horse to its stable.
The Fremont Police Department praised their sergeant for quickly gaining the horse’s trust, placing a halter on it, and guiding it back to its owners. The department went above and beyond to help rescue Colorado, showcasing their commitment to serving the community.
